Design and produce a small publication (booklet, leaflet, etc.) that collates material which, in turn, can communicate key design principles to a reader, such as colour theory, frame and format, and type and grid. This should be submitted physically. You should also document and evaluate your practical research thoroughly on your Studio Practice Blog while using this online space to reflect on your creative process.
Out of these design principles, colour is the area that personally interests me the most. Colour is one of the main components that I focus on when creating a piece of work, and within my practice I consider it to be one of the most important aspects. I wanted to focus particularly on colour perception - how individuals perceive and form connections and memories with particular colours. This is obviously unique to each person, so as the creator of this particular publication I want to use my own ideas and connections with colours. The publication, therefore, will take on a documentation format and consist of mostly of colours samples and accompanying text.
