The final designs for the newspaper:
Due to the physical and economic limits of the risograph machine on which the book was to be printed, the secondary designs for the newspaper were condensed from 24 pages to 16 pages. Content that was cut included the numbers and punctuation of the Garamond typeface and the Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité poster spread. A number of the spreads were also combined to allow the inclusion of the full alphabet. The shorter length actually strengthens the context of the publication as a short newspaper reflects the short nature of the metro journeys.
