OUGD603 - Brief 10 - NEST Issue 13 Communication with Printers

After the visit to Evolution Print in Sheffield with Graphic Design level 6, researched revealed that printing NEST with Evolution would be cheaper than printing with Pressision Print and Finish, as done for all previous issues.

A quote from Evolution concluded that the magazine would cost £1,195 to print. Previous quotes from Pressision were as high as £1,756. Changing printers would save the magazine approximately £500, which could otherwise be put back into the magazine and the university's students. It was decided that issue 13 would be printed with Evolution. Quotes can be compared below.

Further communication with Evolution resulted in the agreement of a 32pp offset printed booklet, saddle-stitched with a foil on the front cover, to be delivered by 16/04/18. Artwork for printing was require by 02/04/18 and issue 13 was delivered to Evolution on the date stated.
