OUGD603 - Brief 05 - Penguin - A Brief History of Time Competition Results

Unfortunately this entry was not successful in being selected for the shortlist. However it was felt among many peers that due to the unforeseen death of Stephen Hawking prior to the judging of submissions, there may have been unintentional bias towards the selected designs. The brief originally stated that the cover designs should celebrate a new era for the book, but it is likely that the judges would have also critiqued the designs based on which felt the most celebratory to the life of the late Stephen Hawking.
