In order to incorporate any ceramic material together with a publication it would be beneficial to view both aspects as one whole package. John suggested combining the publication with a form of box, which would house either ceramic tiles of ceramic sculptures. The publication could form the lid of a box, or it could form the entirety of the box itself through a fold out structure with the information printed onto the net template.
We also discussed further uses of ceramic tiles within the project. One idea was to print the information onto a selection of tiles and display them in a moveable grid formation so that the tiles may be rearranged. This idea would play into the ornamental side of ceramics while also serving a functional purpose.
